To promote greater financial transparency, Representative Hirschauer’s team has compiled the most frequently requested and widely used resources currently available to the public.
Human Services Resources
Our office is best suited to assist with issues and concerns with State agencies, but can help you find the local resources you need. This list contains public and non-profit organizations serving constituents locally.
Governmental Units Resource
Illinois has more units of local government than any state in the US. While change are considered, the fact is that this makes navigation tough. Check our this guide for contact info for the main units in and around District 49.

These are the resources– that made us say, “I wish I’d known about that earlier.” Local and state resources for higher education with sections geared toward first-generation college students, definitions, apprenticeships, and more!
