The Illinois Department of Commerce and Opportunity (DCEO) and Governor JB Pritzker are excited to announce $2.4 million in tourism-related funding opportunities through DCEO’s Tourism Private Sector Grant Program and Tourism Attraction Grant Program
Through the Tourism Private Sector Grant Program, Grantees may apply for grants of $10,000 to $50,000 to support and attract events and festivals that bring valuable tourism-related revenue to communities throughout the state. This program does require Grantees to provide a 1:1 match of any funds awarded. The Tourism Attraction Grant Program allows for eligible Grantees to apply for funding to develop and improve new and existing tourism attractions.
Awardees will be selected through applications reviewed using standardized objective criteria under a standardized competitive Notice of Funding Opportunity (NoFO) process. Applications for both of these opportunities will only be accepted until November 13, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
