Roughly 1 in 4 Illinoisans will be affected as a result of federal funding cuts to Medicaid. These changes will begin affecting some customers as early as October 1st. The Department of Healthcare and Family Services has provided information to keep customers informed and help them understand what they may need to do to prepare for these changes.
