If you would love to book a few minutes with Maura to pitch a legislative idea, share a compliment or concern on state matters, or get help with a state agency (Unemployment, business, housing or utility assistance, FOID cards, etc) we can help with that!

State Sen. Karina Villa and State Rep. Maura Hirschauer will fill you in on the latest news regarding the ongoing effort to pass comprehensive, equitable clean energy legislation and how this important bill impacts communities in their districts. They want to hear from you about the energy and environmental issues that you care about the most. We’ll also have experts on hand to discuss and answer questions on everything from climate change, to energy efficiency, to solar access– you name it!

For the June meeting, we will be discussing water resources and the northern Illinois aquifer, as this came up in meeting discussions earlier this year. We look forward to having Northeastern Illinois water supply issues expert Daniel Abrams from Illinois State Water Survey join us.
